Die Fachzeitschrift SEKUNDÄR-ROHSTOFFE erscheint seit 1984.
Die in SEKUNDÄR-ROHSTOFFE behandelten Themen befassen sich unter anderem mit: Abbruch/Bauschutt, Abfallwirtschaft, Abwrackung, Altautos, Altglas, Altmetall, Altöl, Altpapier, Altreifen, Arbeitssicherheit, Elektro(nik)-Schrott, Hydrolyse, Kunststoffabfällen, Logistik, Organisation, Pyrolyse, Recyclingtechnik, Restholz/Kompostierung, Rohstoffhandel, Sammelsystemen, Schrott, Shreddermüll, Textilrohstoffen, Thermische Verwertung, Verpackungsabfällen sowie mit zahlreichen Sonderthemen.
Die Druckauflage von SEKUNDÄR-ROHSTOFFE lag im Jahr 2007 bei durchschnittlich 4.500 Exemplaren, von denen etwa 90 Prozent im gesamten Bundesgebiet verbreitet sind. Rund zehn Prozent gehen nach Österreich, in die Schweiz, die Niederlande, nach Belgien und Luxemburg.
